For me the proverbial and eternal optimist, there is always some form of light at the end of the tunnel. Today, with COVID 19, we are all somewhere in that tunnel, and as my wife and best friend of near 42 years reminded me. Some see the light in the distance and some don’t. My promise is to not oversell the light, but more to share ideas and perspectives that promote the possibility of the light being ultimately seen for what it truly is, genuine HOPE. To this end, I offer this statement from Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Whatever you do, need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.”
As of now, we are all in line in the tunnel of COVID 19 looking towards the end. Let us find and define our hope as we collectively move forward. Stay well, and love each other! Mike T
